Ina Mae Reams passed away Tuesday, March 25, 2025 at Heritage Village Nursing Center in Holdenville, Oklahoma at the age of 92.

Ina was born May 27, 1932 in Wetumka, Oklahoma to General Collins and Alpha (Burkes) Collins. Ina graduated from Wetumka High School. She worked as a telephone operator for Southwestern Bell for many years. Ina also worked at Gillies Flowers and taught Pre-School at Twin Rivers Head Start.

Ina married Delbert Clayton, who passed away in 1994, then she married Dwight Reams, who passed away in 2018. She loved keeping busy and helping people. Ina was a cook at Falls Creek until she was 80 years old. She was the Sunday school director, taught Sunday school and Bible school, organized funeral dinners at her church, headed Toys for Tots, acted as the president for Alpha Mother’s Club and volunteered to sing at the local nursing home and she loved to cook. She received the ESA Diana Award for her community service and the Baptist General Convention of Oklahoma awarded her a certificate for holding the longest membership at First Baptist Church of Holdenville.

Ina is preceded in death by her parents; both husbands, Delbert Clayton and Dwight Reams; son Tommy Clayton; siblings Joel Collins, Walter Collins, Mary Marsh, Linda Skinner and Willma Collins.

She is survived by her children, Pam Stewart of Wewoka, Barbara Russell and husband Randall of Corpus Christi, Texas, Beverly Jacobson and husband Terry of Rockport, Texas, and Tony Reams; grandchildren Amber Stewart, Jared Stewart, Jeremy Clayton and wife Kim, Brad Clayton and wife Amanda, and Brooks Clayton and wife Michelle; step-grandchildren Adam Russell and wife Cheryl, Randa Franklin and husband Shane, Christina Harris and husband David, Todd Jacobson and wife Aubrey, Heather Parks and husband Garrick, and Brittani Crist; numerous great- grandchildren; and brother Bob Collins of Wetumka. Ina is survived by numerous other relatives and friends.

Viewing will be 1:00pm to 7:00pm, Thursday, March 27th, and 9:00am to 7:00pm, Friday, March 28th, at Hudson-Phillips Funeral Home in Holdenville.

Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m., Saturday, March 29, 2025 at First Baptist Church of Holdenville with Pastor Earl Stephenson officiating assisted by Pastor James Poulain and Brother Earl Scroggins. Interment will follow at Holdenville Cemetery.

Pallbearers are Jared Stewart, Jeremy Clayton, Brad Clayton, Brooks Clayton, Adam Russell and Gary Jennings. Honorary pallbearers are Todd Jacobson, Dwight Barnett, Mike Barrick, Jess Durham and David Harris.

Services are under the direction of Hudson-Phillips Funeral Home, Holdenville, Oklahoma.
