Patricia Ann Collard

Patricia Ann Collard passed away Thursday, July 4, 2024, at Mercy Hospital in Ada, Oklahoma at the age of 81.

Patricia was born January 19, 1943 to Carl Vandeveer and Jewel (Hampton) Vandeveer. Patricia graduated from Oklahoma City Public Schools. She married Carl Collard in Texas on July 22, 1977. Patricia retired as a secretary for Hughes County District #3.

Patricia loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them and her friends. Her grandkids were her joy. Her best friend Sugar never left her side. She enjoyed online shopping.

Patricia is preceded in death by her parents Carl and Jewel Vandeveer; and siblings Kenneth Vandeveer and Odessa Martin.

She is survived by her husband Carl Collard of the home; son Todd Collard and wife Candi; daughter Tammy Bray of Eufaula; grandchildren Chelsea Jones, Carley Champion, Clyde Collard, Kendra Lindsey and Paige Cotton. Patricia is also survived by numerous greatgrandkids, other relatives and friends. Funeral service was 2:00 pm, Wednesday, July 10th, at the First Baptist Church in Calvin, Oklahoma with Pastor Kurtis Stoll officiating and Jim Catlett assisting. Interment followed at Calvin Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Bryan Tatum, Clyde Collard, Tavin Williams, Brandon Harden, Bryan Champion and Bo Lindsey. Honorary pallbearers were Jerry Martin, Stephen Bertao, Jim Catlett, Alvin Orr, Mary Sells, son-in-law Grover Burns, Shane Eckert and Joan Vandeveer.
