Service held for Patsy Cook
Patsy Louise Cook passed away at the age of 79 years on Saturday, May 1, 2021, at her home in Holdenville on property where she lived her entire life.
Pat was the daughter of Washie and Mary (King) Foster, born on June 25, 1941, in Holdenville, Oklahoma. She was brought up and attended schools in Holdenville, and graduated Holdenville High School with the Class of 1959. She was married to Ernest Cook in Stigler, Oklahoma in April of 1971. They were blessed with thirty-six years together before Ernest passed away on February 15, 2007, at the age of 61. Pat enjoyed sewing, gardening, going to casinos, and most of all she loved spending time with her two sons. She was a member of Cedar River Baptist Church.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Washie and Mary Foster and her brother, Kenneth Foster.
She is survived by two sons, Monte Davis of the home, and David Cook of Holdenville, and by other relatives and many friends.
Graveside services were held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 4, 2021, and Pat was laid to rest at Holdenville Cemetery next to her husband, Ernest. Skip Foster was the officiating minister. Pallbearers were Brandon Boone, Kevin King, Skip Foster and Ted Martin.
