Read moreOn December 17, Sunday evening at 5:00 p.m., the citizens of Boley celebrated Christmas in the city park at the entrance of the town of Boley. The community decorated the park with beautiful blow-up Christmas decorations and lights strung from trees and bushes. Those attending enjoyed drinks, hotdogs, and cookies. Each child attending received gifts and gift cards. Anonymous donors sponsored the event. Those attending from Clearview included (pictured left to right) Shirley Nero, Marilyn Jackson, Joyce Barrett, Patsy French, and Helen Bush.

Read moreOn Friday, December 15th, the Town of Clearview celebrated its Holiday Feast at the Clearview Community Center. The Clearview OHCE Brown Suggas prepared Taco Soup, cornbread, dessert, and drinks for the community. The Boley Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity sponsored the event. Local fraternity brothers Dr. Claud Evans and Dr. Donnie Nero speared-headed the event and assisted with activities. After dinner, citizens remained to participate in games of dominoes and chicken foot. In addition, there was a surprised birthday song for Shirley Nero, it was her birthday on that day.
Read moreDonnie Nero Jr. surprised his mother Shirley Nero with arranging a fly-over of Tulsa and surrounding areas to view Christmas lights for her 74th birthday. Pilot Seth Phillips, co-worker of Donnie Jr., flew Nero on a 45-minute flight over downtown Tulsa, Rhema Bible College, Broken Arrow, Paragon Industries, Sapulpa downtown shoot, and Glenpool for her first-time flight in a small plane. Nero said she was so excited to fly, the weather was perfect, and the sky was clear, and it could not have been any better to see the Christmas lights from above. She went on to say that Seth made her feel amazingly comfortable at flying.
