BLACK HISTORY IN OKLAHOMA

An African American motion-picture actor known for his comedic characterizations, Dudley Henry Dickerson, Jr., was born in Chickasha, Chickasaw Nation, Indian Territory (present Grady County, Oklahoma), on November 27, 1906. He was the fourth of six children of Dudley Henry Dickerson and Cora Hilliard Dickerson. His siblings were Norman, Irene, Hortense, Delora and Alycef, four of whom were born in the Chickasaw Nation.

Community Holiday Feast

The Clearview OHCE Brown Suggas and the Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Beta Epssilon Lambda Chapter of Boley have teamed together to feed the community of Clearview free of charge on December 15th at 5:00 p.m. at the Clearview Main Street Community Center.
