Memorial Day at Clearview Cemetery

The attendance during Memorial Day at the Clearview Cemetery was very good. Visitors came from as far away as California to decorate the graves of their loved ones and to meet up with other relatives and old friends. Some came with their children and grandchildren to locate graves of ancestors and relay their family histories. One day, the future of the cemetery will depend on them.

Clearview OHCE Brown Suggas and Mayor of Cleawrview Participate in Boley Rodeo Parade

Boley held their annual Memorial Day Boley Parade and Rodeo on Saturday, May 27th. Thousands of people lined Pecan Street to watch a parade of dancers, cars, floats, and horses move down the street for more than an hour. The Brown Suggas and the Mayor of Clearview participated in the parade in a small, decorated car. It was a fun ride for participants including first time attendees, the granddaughters of Shirley Nero (Jordan and Jada), and Shirley and Marilyn Jackson.
