Hope Harbor is excited to announce our new Executive Director, Mr. Dirk O’Donnell. Mr. O’Donnell is a graduate of the University of Central Oklahoma. Since moving to Claremore three years ago, Mr. O’Donnell and his family have been supporters of Hope Harbor. He believes in the work being done at Hope Harbor and is committed to providing the best services to the families we serve. Dirk believes in hope, healing and second chances. The Oklahoma Department of Human Services plans to close 35 offices across the state, including the Hughes County office in Holdenville.
Read moreVoters approved a $950,000 Hughes County Emergency Medical Service (HCEMS) bond issue on January 10, 2017. In addition to replacing the aging fleet of ambulances and upgrading their obsolete equipment, funds were also earmarked to provide two new stations; one in Calvin and another in Wetumka, so the EMS could better serve the entire county.
