She was a loving mother to four children (Janie, Thomas, Earl, Paula), two stepchildren (Sonny, Jimmy), eight grandsons, and two granddaughters. Tommie was a dedicated worker for over 40 years at JC Pennys Accounting Department in Dallas, Texas. Tommie was preceded in death by her parents Tom and Eula Smith; her husband James Denton Sherrin; her daughter Janie Mae Sherrin; six brothers James Lewis, Jimmy, Delbert, Roy, Jerry, and Larry, and one sister Patricia Smith. Also, one grandchild, Wesley Keith. Survivors are sister Lois Sherrin of Rockwall, Texas; children Thomas and Lela Sherrin of Rowlett, Texas, Earl and Celia Sherrin of Grand Prairie, Texas, Paula and John Bates of Terrell, Texas, Jimmy and Alice Sherrin of Shawnee, Oklahoma and Judy Sherrin of Shawnee, Oklahoma.
