William “Bill” Darold Bennett

William “Bill” Darold Bennett passed away Friday, August 27, 2021 at St Anthony’s Hospital in Shawnee, Oklahoma at the age of 63.

Bill was born May 7, 1958 in Schulter, Oklahoma in his home to Jack Olen Bennett, Sr., and Mary Louise (Hendricks) Henry. He was employed at Thomas Middle School since 2014. Bill loved his family, church, singing, people and was a friend to everyone!

Bill is preceded in death by his parents; siblings Donna Louise Denby and Jack Olen Bennett, Jr.

He is survived by his wife Debbie Bennett of the home; daughter Anita Ricketts and husband John of Oklahoma City, daughter Jennifer Allen of Oklahoma City, daughter Elisha Kinast of Hutchinson, Kansas, daughter Erica Bozarth of the home, son John Bennett of the home, and daughter Katie Bennett of the home; 11 grandchildren with one on the way; one great-grand-baby on the way; sister Peggy Hamilton of Henryetta; and brother Terry Bennett and wife Rhonda of Muskogee. Bill is also survived by many nieces, nephews and numerous friends.

Viewing will be 9:00 am to 7:00 pm Tuesday, August 31 ^st , and 9:00 am to 7:00 pm Wednesday, September 1 ^st , at Hudson-Phillips Funeral Home, Holdenville.

Memorial service will be 1:00 pm Friday, September 3 ^rd , at Faith Free Will Baptist Church with Brother Earl Scroggins officiating.

Pallbearers are John Bennett, John Ricketts, Joe Don Richardson, Ryan Bennett, and Aden Terneus. Honorary pallbearers are James Ingham, Robert Hanson and Justin Keith.

Services are under the direction of Hudson-Phillips Funeral Home, Holdenville, Oklahoma.
