Our sympathies extended to the families of Marjorie E. Conway
Marjorie E. Conway, 94, passed away on February 4, 2022 in College Station, Texas. Marjorie was born September 29, 1927 in Weleetka, Oklahoma to John and Lucy Earle.
Marjorie attended the University of Houston and earned her Bachelor’s Degree. She was a substitute teacher and bookkeeper but most importantly she was a devoted wife and mother. Marjorie married Ralph Conway on April 17, 1954 and they raised three beautiful children together. She is described as being crafty and while Margie loved many types of crafts, the most treasured possessions will be the amazing quilts made for her family. One of her daughter in laws said “Our kids have so many treasures from grandma’s hands” and how special that is to always have a loving memory to treasure.
Marjorie is preceded in death by her parents, brothers in law; Harold “Sonny Aiken, Edward and Jack Conway and son in law; Clem Murski. She is survived by her loving husband of 67 years, Ralph Conway, her children; Cyndi Murski, Ralph “Bud” Conway, Jr. (Jamie), and John Conway (Marchelle), her sister; Polly Aiken, four grandchildren; Dylan Conway (Jessica), Dalton Conway (Haley), Bethany Conway and Blake Conway (Elizabeth) and four great-grandchildren; Cayden Conway, Kyndal Conway, Cooper Conway and Cayse Conway and numerous nieces and nephews.
A visitation for Margie was held on Tuesday, February 8, 2022 from 3pm to 5pm at Brenham Memorial Chapel located at 2300 Stringer Street, Brenham, Texas. A graveside service for Margie was held on Wednesday, February 9, 2022 at 3pm at Earthman Memory Gardens Cemetery located at 8624 Garth Road, Baytown, Texas.
Serving as pallbearers were: Dylan Conway, Dalton Conway, Blake Conway, Mike Aiken, Bill Aiken, Ed Aiken and Pat Aiken.
